I`m Arun Prasad. I completed my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore under Visvesvaraya Technological University in the year 2008.
From 2008 to 2010, I worked for Flowserve Corporation as a Design Engineer. I was involved in Finite Element Analysis and New Product Development. Presently I work for Cessna Aircraft Company as a Manufacturing Engineer. I do the process planning and assembly sequence for manufacturing Business Jets. I have worked on various Citation jets. Most recently I was involved in the Process Planning of Manufacturing the Citation Latitude.
I`m a avid reader, writer, speaker(probably). Some of my Academic Interests include Aeromodelling, Gadget reviews, Video-Editing and my newly found Interest – Blogging. I love playing Badminton and Following Cricket.
I am a Continuous Learner and Do things by learning. I like meeting new people and love exchanging my thoughts and ideas. I`m interested in operations, Lean Manufacturing, supply chain management, start-ups, technology entrepreneurship.
I am selected into the 8th Batch of PGPEX-VLM program and look forward to joining it soon. This Blog is all about documenting my journey towards the same.
